It could backfire on the Republicans if the country erupts in violance. Which is what is completely expected.

Yeah, it was timed by the democrats because they are in charge of losing the war, and of a trial that’s taken two years when any kangaroo court in the world would have found him guilty in hours. The delay in the trail is another Bush failure.
Hmmm, the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials lasted a year and that was after the war. This one the war is still going on.
I would think if it took only hours many people would think it was rigged and stagged and not a real trial.
The fact that it has taken this long should give it some level of respectability.

I would have just shot him in the hole. That’s sort of what we did to his sons and it worked out fairly well.
I am fairly certain no one in the Arab world doesn’t think his trial isn’t staged for the benefit of the US. Maybe the US thinks its fair, but I would guss the Sunnis and his supporters don’t.
