you won’t have room to use an extender. Use a normal length valve.
a better question is what latex tube has a short valve length. I believe the answer is Michelin. My Vittoria tube have a long valve.
I’ve had latex Vitt, Bontrager and Michelin’s in my H3, all worked fine with a crack pipe.
I’m using 35mm (buytl) on my H3’s.

since the valves go into the rim at an angle, the longer valve stems (like the 51mm stem on the Vittoria) stick out of the hole where you would put the crack pipe to pump it up, and then you can’t tape over it well on race day.

Now that I go back and look you are right, only green tubes have been in my H3. Good catch.
