Looking to purchase a new computer mount for my TT bike and noticing quite a bit of conflicting information out there, so looking to see who is using what.
Goal: One mount that works for both Edge 800 and 910xt (quick release) which is attached to the TT extensions. ( I don’t want to use the rubber o-ring solution from Garmin)
Two products which seem to come the closest:
Bar Fly TT mount with the proprietary 1:30 / 7:30 system. DC Rainmaker mentions that this is a great mount, but recent reviews on Amazon state that it won’t work with the 910XT (2 reviews in December)
K-Edge TT mount - from their website it states that it is not compatible with the 910XT, although on Amazon it states that it does work…
Anyone with real world experience on trying to find one mount that will work for these two computers?
SC_Nick made some really nice custom 3D printed ones that mount between your bars. I picked up one and constantly get asked about it. He had them listed in the classifieds, but I’d PM him to see if he has any left.
The problem is that the 910xt QR mount sits at a different angle than the 500/800/510/810 by 90 degrees. The Barfly TT also mounts on the smaller 22mm extension diameter. If you go with the Barfly TT mount the 800 will sit sideways.
It’s the opposite with the K-Edge. The 800 will sit properly but the 910xt will be sideways.

Isn’t the innovative thing about the Barfly mount that due to the 1/8th turn mount (as opposed to standard Garmin 1/4th turn) you can mount Edge AND Forerunner computers? It’s what they say on their website (http://www.barflybike.com/barflytt/) and, owning one, what I’ve seen…
