ST Brain Trust- what are your thoughts?

I am building an older Scott Plasma 3 (has Alpha One Bars) up and considering what to improve on the front end.

I also like to get to a yes or no on if it is legal. Lots of speculation on this in various threads.
I had a P5-6 with Alpha One bars and I 3D printed a nose faring to replace the stock one between the bars and brakes. But P5-6 already had one. The Scott Plasma 3 did not come from manufacturer with front faring.

UCI legal? doubtful.

TriRig data claims 15g drag improvement over just one of their brakes, so a little over a watt and a half. As long as you already have a tririg front brake and bars, may as well toss it on. Desert Dude is the resident Plasma 3 expert though so maybe he can chime in!

Anyone have an idea whether this could replace the brake cover on a Dimond? I recently switched to a TriRig One bar, am loathe to cut the mono post, but definitely do not want the extra hanging down. (Note: mine is built into a custom Nowind bar, so the consequences of cutting too much are severe.)

Having both a Dimond and an Omni (with Alpha One bars on each) I’m going to go with I doubt it. It’s not going to mate well with the Super Fork.

Th Worlds fastest Plasma 3 bike had me spending a bit of time pondering that. Ultimately I decided that at most it was going to be <2w improvement and could be >2w drag penalty. In the end putting that on my bike didn’t meet my aero/value/yes/no criteria.

Which one 😊? The fastest biker on a Plasma 3 ? I would think it was Toni Martin. Or the lowest CdA attained with a Plasma 3? What’s your CdA? Bigham used to cycle a Plasma 3. I know a girl with an incredibly low CdA on a Plasma 3.

I have both bikes to, you are right it will not match well at all.
