Hopefully if you were thinking of doing the Triple-T next year you got in. This update was posted on the HFP website yesterday:

Im in. I am also not surprised that it sold out before January this year. For those who have not done this race…simply put…it’s the best mid-west race around. Can’t wait.
This is about when it sold out last year I think.
I’m in too. I’m having arthroscopic surgery on the left knee to clean up my torn meniscus this afternoon. Hopefully in a few weeks I can begin training for the 07 Triple-T.
Good luck with the surgery…I had knee surgery last year in Feb…and still had plenty of time to recover and get in the swing of things…best of luck.
Hey, thanks for the kind words. I’m back home on the couch resting after the scope. The flap in the meniscus was cleaned up and I should be back in action in 3 to 4 weeks. I also have the early on-set of arthritis in the left knee and a defect at the end of my femur (it is not round or smooth on part of the end of the bone) that I’ll need to continue to deal with, but so far it really hasn’t slowed my down.
Before the Triple-T I have Boston to get ready for and then 2 weeks after Boston I’m doing Wildflower. I’m a pretty happy camper (maybe it’s the pain killers) this evening knowing that this knee issue is behind me.
I’m in too! Was a great early season long training weekend (with a few hills and intensity thrown in)
Good luck with knee!
I’m in too…reluctantly! I can honestly say this is a race I believe I could finish LAST…!!!
And the triple t will be great for your knee…Maybe you’ll tear the other one!

Don’t worry, I’ll be there to take over that honor.
This is a pretty funny thread - I’m another one vying for the last place honors in Triple-T. This is like the anti-smack thread!! Are we still on Slowtwitch or have we somehow wondered over to that other forum?
I did the Triple-T last year with a left lateral meniscal tear and didn’t have any problems. Now that the tear has been cleaned up and it wont be flapping around I shouldn’t have any problems this year.
This is a pretty funny thread, I’ll agree. So many fast peeps at the TripleT, most of us need to check out egos at home. Actually, that is the best part of this race. Everyone is out there suffering together, in the same uniform, eating together, getting massages together, etc. Many using it as a training weekend as well. Really great time - we will definitely have to have a ST get together so we can have our own little cheering section since you are basically out there on your own with that run on the same road over and over and over … You will learn to love that fire road …
