So I was looking around on trifind.com and I see that besides the Capital of Texas Triathlon and TriRock, there are not many tri’s in this area. Why is that? Or am I missing some that aren’t posted on trifind.

Texas Tri Series is run by the best race team around. There are also other races outside of the series. If you just moved to Austin you are in the right spot for triathlon.

Tons of races in the hill country area. There is the Marble Falls tri in june/july, which is an awesome race. Several different ones in Boerne I believe throughout the summer. Then the Kerrville tri in Sept.
IM Austin 70.3 in Oct, but I don’t recommend that one.
Lots of Dus right now, and several good tri’s in Houston as well.

I need to get to Austin more often. I really like it there. Good beers, awesome running, and torchies breakfast tacos are worth the trip alone. I should put a race or two on my bucket list.
