Triathlon vendors at expos

Anyone ever run one of these? Are they a waste of time and money? Do people openly spend, esp on non-tri-stuff (Target audience women).

Thoughts

If you have the goods people want and can conduct the transaction quickly and efficiently with numerous payment options AND you are at a major event you may do well.

I’ve done them both as a retailer and for an industry product. Seems like the retailers setting up a “virtual store” do the best. If you just have one product that you are selling, it may be more about exposure.
