Mississippi Heat Tri Camp 2011 will be held in Jackson, Mississippi March 25-27, 2011!

Come join us for a great weekend of training, education, and cameraderie for triathletes of all ability levels. For everybody, this will be a terrific opportunity to get the 2011 triathlon season off to a good start. For some, it’s a chance to continue your training as you prepare for an early season race like the New Orleans 70.3, Gulf Coast Triathlon, or Memphis in May. For others, it’s a chance to begin your preparation for the Soak up the Sun or Heatwave triathlons.

Kendrick Gibson will be serving as Head Coach and we have an excellent line-up of Guest Coaches, including Gordo Byrn, Justin Daerr, and Jeff Fejfar.

Our Camp will combine 7+ hours of group training with 10 hours of educational sessions. We will have a special Triathlon 101 track which includes small-group sessions for beginner triathletes. If you’re looking to do a triathlon for the first time–or perhaps you’ve done a couple races already–this could be a great opportunity to learn and review the basic nuts-and-bolts of triathlon training and racing.

Check out the Schedule of Events for the weekend.

Registration is open! The Tri Camp will be limited to 75 participants, so be sure to reserve your spot early!

This is shaping up to be a first rate event/camp…LOTS of sponsors lined up and excellent group of coaches including Gordo and Justin Daerr…and it’s certainly a bargain ($240) compared to many of the “destination” camps…looking forward to it!

Sanctioned by USAT and accredited to offer 10 CEU’s for USAT Coaches who attend.

Come join us. Should be a lot of fun!
