guys, after some good tri shorts. dont want short ones, proper longer shorts. thinking about desoto power tri shorts. any comments? ok for IM? the new qr ones look nice (pinnacle?) - not sure if they are long shorts or not… thx for advice

I think you would like DeSoto. They are very good. Several models including one with pockets all over them for carrying your stuff on the bike.
If you appreciate the finer things in life, wear a Rolex, drive a Lexus and only drink Evian and sweated it out when Paris Hilton’s phone list was published on the Internet, then you will want a pair of Craft tri shorts. If you have to ask, they’re too much. But oh so good.

DeSoto is great…I just tried Pearl Izumi Tri shorts …they uh hum…just do not have enough support fot the boys… 
I have the shorter desoto tri shorts. They don’t have grippers like bike shorts, but they have never ridden up on me. I don’t know about the longer ones, but I think they’re the same way.

…cause I have the Pearl Izumis and love them so much I have six pairs!
The QR Pinnacle shorts have leg grippers and have about a 6 inch leg length.

I’ve been wearing DeSoto powershorts for the past several years and really like them. They have a 8 inch inseam and leg grippers. No problem with riding up. I highly recommend them. I tried Orca’s and they were half way up my back by the time I finished the bike.

one vote for the sugoi power tri shorts. i have a pair of the desoto power shorts as well, and i like them, but i prefer the sugoi’s.
