I started listening to the Trainerroad podcasts (which are awesome) and was wondering, is there anything similar for Tri?
I am a permanent beginner, podcasts aimed at beginners would be appreciated.
The Triathlon Hour
Pro Tri News
Crushing Iron Podcast
That Triathlon Show
Triathlon Mockery

We’ve just launched The Athlete’s Compass Podcast which is aimed at everyday endurance athletes with a focus on the sport of triathlon. Drop on by!
IM Talk (iron distance focused, from New Zealand)
Fitter Radio (also from New Zealand, with a particular lean towards the science of triathlon and nutrition)
.
Slowtwitch has a podcast, y’know
.
I wasn’t really sure where to post this, but I thought it was a very compassionate conversation about a difficult topic. It’s worth a listen regardless of what you think of Beth.
Good list, I would add:
- Miles From Ordinary - this is Jess Learmonth and Bex Milnes. Jess may have the best race recaps ever, and the pair’s triathlon discussions are great. They address age group perspectives as well.
- All In Triathlon - Jelle Geens and Aaron Royle. Interesting perspectives from those two, and they bring on good guests as well. Not a training podcast
I am reading Tylr Hamilton, the Secret Race at the moment. Goes into some of the psychology of the real doping from the late 90s and 2000s.
If you are Canadian, you may find my podcast quite relevant. It’s
Not tri-specific, but I enjoy listening to the SWAP (Some Work, All Play) podcast. David and Megan Roche dive into training and fueling topics for ultra running that I find applicable to 70.3 and IM training/racing.
