ok…now i see it…that is COOL!

That bar set up does not fit with the rest of the bike…looks wierd. Also, too many spacers…do you have a bad back?..loose the frame pump.

I’ll switch to the new syntace c3 clip as soon as it is available - spacer stack is still in test configuration, haven’t found out perfect height for me.

sweet bike. I’d agree with the comment on the aesthetics of the aerobar. not that it matters if you’re more comfortable on those but you are posting pics of your bike for us to look at :).

So why the two bikes?

this bike has a great design but the fit of ALL the TREK TTX bikes is really bad if you are 5’8" or smaller.

You can not achieve a proper aero fit (shoulder-hip-pedal angle + wrist-elbow-shoulder angle + hip-knee-pedal angle) with their small size if you are smaller than 5’8"…every combo of lowering the handlebars, flipping the stem, for-aft saddle, up-down saddle, etc has failed with this bike.

the problem lies in the extremely poorly designed elbow armrests which sit over an inch higher than the handlebar. 6 months of contact with TREK has resulted in them doing absolutely NOTHING…unless your on the Discovery Team, which had to have the bike equipment modified for the small guys (levi).

Why not?

Sick bike… Congratz on it man!

I love that paint job.

The wooden kickstand has to go.

Nice bike. Could we see the other side…please.

Why not just switch aerobars. Easton TT have lower profile armrests.

Is that a Planet X bike? All I see is a little white box with a red X in it.

I had it hosted on imageshack first, obviously there was to much traffic. Now I put it on tinypic … should work now.

OK, now I see it. Awesome paint job. I am glad to see I am not the only one who hasn’t switched over to T2s or some other S bend aerobar. I have tried many others (T2s, vision, syntace, PD carbon x) and by far, I am most comfortable on the PD Carbon Strykes. I know they lack the cool factor but after learning my lesson, I plan on sticking with what works for me. Good luck with your new rig. Are you planning on keeping the Saber as well?

You think that’s Trek problem? Man, the things that customer service has to put up with, 6 months of contact! Very amusing…

Very nice bike, congrats!
Now the person that designed those aerobars should be SHOT! I’m pretty sure that Profile Design gives away those aerobars to some manufacturers, no person in his/her right mind would buy them.
