Trek Speed Concept 7.5 rear brake quick release

Hi all,

I was looking at the rear brake on the Trek Speed Concept 7.5 and could not identify a quick release lever, e.g. to remove the rear wheel during a race. Does anyone know if there is such a quick release lever or similar mechanism on the SC 7.5?

Thanks, Geoff

Just loosen the skewer and take the wheel out. That’s all you need to do.

same question I had a few months ago. just yank on the wheel and wrestle it out. assuming your brakes are set right.

Supposedly the rear brake is engineered to allow tire clearance without a QR through the use of a progressive cam. But if you like very short brake lever travel, just use the brake cable barrel adjuster that comes with the 7 series to open the brake up when you change a wheel.

That seems easy enough…Thanks to all for the advice.
