Quick question for anyone with a Trek Madone 9.0.
Just purchased one and looking at how you put the water bottle cages on the bike it looks like very small screws not like my old bike which screws were much larger to secure the cages. Do you have to have specific Trek cages to fit? or am I missing something?

Standard cages fit. I’ve also mount an aero cage with no problem.

Be sure to use the correct screws on the seattube mounted cage, they should be shorter than the others.
Hi,
Mine came with little brass screws in the water bottle holes that need to be removed prior to installing standard bolts.
I did use shorter screws on the seat tube.
