Trek 1600 wsd for $600 is that a good deal?

A friend of mine is looking to buy an entry level road bike. she can get a trek 1600 wsd (retails around $1200) for roughly $600. Is there any reason why she shouldn’t pull the trigger?

That is a good bike for the price. Your friend can also go to Performance Bike and get another good bike for around the same price. Entry level I would not spend more than that.

sorry im using this thread but was wondering if a cervelo dual from 2004 with powertap and powertap wheel for 1200$ is a good deal?
