Treadmill Bremshey a good choice?

Saw a Bremshey with 2.5hp motor for 1200$CDN. There is another model for 500$ more than has a somewhat softer surface but the difference did not seem to warrant 500$ more.

Is this a good buy or will I regret it? I’m not expecting the same quality as the 5000$ units at the gym but I want something that will let me run for the duration of a whole movie, several times a week and for at least a few winters.

There are 5 different treadmill models to choose from in the Bremshey Sport line up, and the great thing is they all have the same platform length and width, so all units will be comfortable and spacious to workout on. However when researching a treadmill that you will be running on other factors play a big part;

  1. How often and how far are you goung to run
  2. What is the top speed with which you want to run (not all treadmills are 'smooth" when trying to run at 8 miles hr. Think of it as a car; a BMW on the highway at 100 km/hr. is going to feel different than a Vibe (no offence to the Vibe) They both will go to 100 kph, but they dont feel the same at 100 kph.
  3. How many users will there be on a daily bases
  4. How big is the “biggest person” (in weight) using the treadmill

The biggest benefits to the Bremshey Sport treadmills are;

  1. they are a low profile treadmill (very close to the ground) so you will not get a lot of shake in your treadmill even at the higher speeds while working out
  2. In the 2009 models we use a new rubber grommet under the deck that not only absorbs impact, but lessens the recoil factor that you get on a lot of other treadmills (especially under $2000) This also makes the treadmill more comfortable and quiet over a longer workout period.

As per which Bremshey Sport treadmill…you are most likely in the Trail catagory at a minimum (the Scout and Ambition might not be enough of a unit for you) and the MSRP is roughly $1599 CDN.
I will tell you that our customers generally are very happy with their units, and since the company has been around since 1973, you will always get your investment out of a Bremshey Sport treadmill.
