Transition bifocal reader sport glasses

Help. I need advice as to where to find transition lens, bifocal reader, sport glasses. I got caught with regular bifocal reading sunglasses at IM LP this year in the pouring rain. I have since bought yellow bifocal reading sunglasses. I ran into IM triathletes at the Disney Marathon this year who recommended transition lens. This sounds great, but I need bifocal readers to see the road and read my garmin. I also need them to be sport glasses for eye protection. I have only found one pair online, Porsche for 275$. Any advice as to where I can find some would be appreciated.

i got a pair of these for cycling a year ago as I was having trouble reading the bike computer. They have been working great for me, but not sure if they have transitions lens. Also are reasonably priced.

Thanks, great site, not transitions.

I’m with openwheel. I bought two pair of Dual reader sunglasses. The pair I ride with are similar to the old Oakley m frame with interchangeable lenses for different lighting condition for the bike and a single lens pair for running. I’ve found it easier to change glasses in T2 then run with sweaty smudged glasses. My near vision has gotten so bad I cant read the Garmin on my wrist anymore without glasses.

My husband got the Dual SL2 pro eyewear from excel sports boulder and loves then.

Thanks for the tip. Just ordered “Tifosi Veloce Reader Fototec 2.0 Matte Black Sunglasses #1040800138” Hope they work great.

I purchased multiple sets of stick on bifocals, put a pair on my regular sunglasses, and a set on 3 different lenses for my Oakley Radars. I really like them and recommend to those of us that need help in the reading vision area (older types…haha)

Amazon has many safety sunglasses that are cheap as heck and work great. The Dewalt ones are just fine. There are couple other brands that are good as well. Check them out, most are under $15.

I have about 3 sets of Duals but love this option for all my other sun glasses- thanks so much for posting this just ordered 3 sets- woo hoo. Thanks again

I wear bifocal contacts and then can pick any sunglasses out there. I find that my regular glasses (progressive) are too heavy and fit really crappy for riding a bike. I’ve had transitions in the past and when I had them, after awhile they stayed a bit grey all the time, even indoors. I do have a pair of transition lenses for biking / running. I’ll use those if it is an overcast / cloudy day. As I don’t do, at this time, any distance longer than a HIM, I don’t have to worry about darkness. But, I’ll bring 2 to 3 pairs of glasses to transition with me with 1 set ready to go but the others handy if change my mind.
