Training Peaks Alternative Anyone?

Not a coach but am an athlete of one and I’m n Worklot log. As end user I like WO log

cyclinganalytics looks awesome. It’s a shame how little innovation WKO/trainignpeaks has done in the past ~5years. They’ve been resting on their early success IMO

TrainingPeaks and WKO will be seeing huge updates in the next couple months. Move away from Flash and to HTML5 for trainingpeaks, WKO4 as well. Sounds like WKO4 is going to introduce some tools that might just change the way many people train with power meters as well.

New mobile apps are out for iOS and Android, new HTML5 web app in beta and new WKO+ 4 (including a native Mac version) also coming. There are 4 webinars coming up on some of the new tools and features in WKO+ 4

Will the webinars be available to download/view after they happen?

They typically get posted to their YouTube channel. Scroll down to Webinars. If you register for them you’ll get a follow up email once they are available.

I have been using Addaero Solo as a coach and athlete for 4 months. It is free while it is in Beta, I believe until the end of the year. I like the interface, summary data by sport, and group planning and management tool. I have created group plans and easily send them out to one or more athletes. Awesome tool to reach a large audience of users, especially in corporate fitness. The workout builder and results entry screens need some work but they are usable. I have spoken to the Addaero customer support and apparently there are significant upgrades coming in early 2014.

My coaching colleague and I have been using Addaero Classic for 7 years. It has a really clean interface, is simple to use, and our athletes have enjoyed receiving and logging their training through this site. The price is very reasonable at $4 per athlete and Addaero has always been helpful and flexible to make sure the platform meets our needs. The only thing I feel like Addaero Classic is missing is a great data analysis tool. I am not sure how Training Peak is for data analysis? Addaero recently created a new platform called Addaero Solo. It is in beta phase but it should be a very nice upgrade with an improved workout builder and athlete interface. We hope to start using this platform for all of our athletes on January 1st.

Use Race Day Apollo! It has even better (IMO) capabilities than TP and Phil can set you up to communicate with athletes. It does all 3 sports, so seems to be much more useful for those of us that are into tri…

You Addaero guys are too much. Just keep creating accounts and touting your product. You and the guy below you too.
