Training During Vacation

Need advice on how much to train during vacation next week. Here is the deal: I am training for IM Wisc. on September 9th. I have been averaging between 13-17 hours a week. Last week I broke my collarbone (in the distal area). My Dr. said that I can ride and run if I can stand the discomfort as the bone will heal no matter what I do–except falling. So I have been running and riding quite a bit. You all know how tough it is to ease up on the training without feeling guilty so with that being said, how many hours should I shoot for next week? I will be primarily running and riding a spinning bike at the local gym in Destin, FL

If you’re coming down from Madison, Wisconsin, plan on cutting back on any outdoor running anyways because of the heat. I’m just north of Destin, and it was 84F and sticky when I headed out to run at 8 this morning.
