Can anyone recommend a specific diet to help lose some weight while still training effectively? I am about 5’11’’ @ 180lbs but already fairly lean (approx. 7-8% bodyfat). I plan to cut back lifting a little bit but don’t want to lose too much muscle mass, would rather try to cut down on body fat. I currently run approx. 20-25 miles/week and ride a couple of hours during the week with a 50 mile ride on weekends until the weather improves. I am currently targeting the powerman duathlon on April 10th in Alabama. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

At 7-8% bodyfat you are already pretty lean. Many people find they have health issues when they drop to 6% or less. Do a little searching on this topic also. The gains may not be as viable as you think.
