Trainer resistance types +/-

i’d like to hear what people have to say about the pros and cons of different types of trainers. namely fluid/magnetic/wind resistance, not brand so much. the categories i can think of are cost, durability, quality of resistance, noise level.
anyo comments on these or other categories you can think of or if you’d choose one over the others.

I think fluid is superior. Very quiet, and simulates resistance vs. power output better than magnetic.

Ditto. Fluid with the biggest honkin flywheel you can find.

www.analyticcycling.com sells a special version of the Kurt Kinetic with an 18.5 pound flywheel. It much more accurately reproduces the pedaling dynamics of fast riding.
