I was very touched by the story that popped up on the news during the day today as it was very near to my heart and really hit home for me, My neighbor a long time commercial pilot was instructing a student pilot to fly a small aircraft this morning departing from Falcon field airport when disaster quickly struck. Upon take off witnesses claim the aircrafts engine shot off twice before the plane nose dived into the open lot across the street. The pilot has been a long time neighbor of mine who lived 2 houses down from me, who left too soon leaving behind children and a wife. I just felt the need to share this because my day turned sour when I heard this news. As i sat outside my home today reflecting upon the news i found myself watching as his wife pulled in along with family and I couldn’t help but become emotional. I wanted to include a link to the story just because I am trying to deal with this news right now and I think it could make a difference in someone else’s life as well.
