Tour Commercials

OK – Anyone else out there whose kids know the OLN Tour Coverage commercials by heart? In Canada OLN has about 3 commercials for the coverage – we get to see them over and over. If that’s not bad enough, my son now recites them word for word while they’re on…man that’s annoying after a while.

Take me boating? I’m a 41 YO professional volleyball player with ripped abs and legs of steel. Don’t forget to bring me a Tim Horton’s Yogurt & Berries thingy. You’ll recognize me, i’ll be next to my hot wife on her Bowflex Treadclimber.

Did you guys now that OLN is gonna be showing the orignal Survivor?

…and did you know that tour cyclists consume over 9000 calories per day - and none of it is from rat meat? I wonder if that guy “alone” in the artic, “Survivorman”, eats rat meat?

All my mojo, juju and voodoo…and nothing! --B. Roll

Tour time is the only time I get to see the “DR Field and Brush Mower!” That thing really fascinates me.

You forgot the very memorable motor oil commercial - He thinks this is his truck – good man, nice man.

I know I should be thankful that they’re putting money up for the broadcast - but man it’s hard sometimes…

My suggestion: Tape the live broadcast. Fast forward through it when you’re watching in the evening. Even with this, the commercials get repetitive!

I do pity Phil having to constantly go on about the professional BBQ championships. Who the hell watches this crap? Watching someone BBQ??? I thought fishing shows were bad enough!

Don’t forget to enter the Powerbar sweepstakes. And get your ass out of the cot and down to Red Lobster!

There are commercials? Hunny Bunny DVR’s the second coverage of the day, and we watch it in the evening, zipping through the commercial chunks. I have to admit that last year I got *very *sick of the Cyclism Sunday commercial that with insane looking guy.

WHAT ABOUT JARED!!! If I see one more of those, I am going to be sick. Isn’t it ironic though, that most people watching these commercials are very fit, and here we have Jared, who is not the best fitness role model.

RUNAWAYSHOES DOT COM!!!

To this day I can’t get this frigging commercial out of my head.

I guess that’s the least offensive commercial in the heavy rotation… maybe cause I like dogs. Its kinda weird how the guy never gives the pooch a pat on the head or something… they just sort of look at each other.

I actually record with the Rogers cable PVR, and zip through the commercials, like others do. The PVR is the absolute best peice of AV equipment made since the television was invented.

if shaving your legs doesn’t make you question your masculinity…
then you’re a mitchum man.

The Discover Boating Canada commercials drive me insane. Those kids voices, aargh. I want to stab out my ear drums with a bladed spoke every time those two commercials come on. I can abide the others.

Yeah, that one’s been bugging me throughout OLN’s spring classics coverage. Now I get to see it daily.

I GET IT, Mitchum is deoderant for bad-asses.

Hey Janet, there’s doughnuts in the conference room!
