I’m looking for an extension for my Park Tool Torque Wrench as the current bit isn’t long enough to get in my stem to tighten. I currently have to use an allen key and need to tighten to 12 Nm but can’t judge that by finger tightening. After a couple of weeks the stem needs to be retightened. Any idea where I can purchase something that would be long enough to get in my stem. I need 1.25" and the park tool is only 3/4". Went to a couple of hard ware stores as well as looked on the internet with no luck. Must be some trick of the trade out there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
If you cant find a long allen socket, you could chop the short end off an L shaped allen key so it’s straight, and use a hex socket to turn it. I’m terrible at describing what I mean, hopefully it makes sense. The socket will fit loosely on the modified allen key, but it should work. If nothing else you could file it down to fit the next smallest socket.
…shouldn’t be too hard to find the proper long allen socket, though… http://www.harborfreight.com/7-piece-38-metric-long-ball-head-hex-socket-set-67888.html for example.
Not sure what the Park wrench uses to hold its bits, but my torque wrench is a 1/4" drive. I have an 1/4" square to 1/4" hex adapter that will let me use any regular hex bit, or extension. Works great. I would think HF would carry something like this. You could also just use a standard 1/4" socket extension. They’re available in several lengths. Or you could use a 1/4" drive socket in 1/4" to hold bits. The only down side here is there is no magnet holding the bit in place.
Hope this helps.

Those will do the trick. Thank you.
