Glad to see so many interested in racing at Disney for Ironman 70.3 Florida! You might about 3-4 weeks before the race will close, but to be safe you should sign up this week. Once it gets close to filling up the entries tent to start pouring in and it has closed earlier each year of the race.

If you interested doing another triathlon at Disney, you might want to look at participating in the Athletes for a Cure Triathlon on Sept. 20th - Olympic Distance race with the entire 25 mile bike course on Disney with NO CARS on the course! www.afactri.com - Great Cause and a perfect race to bring the family! Tom i’ll be down there too. I would have came down for florida great escape again except i can’t make it in Feb.

I’m thinking we need an ST tent down there.

Sorry to hear that you will not be down for FGE. Looks like we will have a good field this year and the weather has been very nice - first cold front is coming through this week and the highs will only be in the 60’s this week!

Lol i don’t believe you!! I come down there for a march race from iowa and its warmer in iowa haha. I spent a good 200 yards trying to get my wetsuit off cause my hands were frozen. and it took me at least till 2 miles into the run to have any feeling in my feet. So much fun :slight_smile:
