So this MTB route that I do has plenty of good photo opps and I figured since it was going to be a nice day (morning at least) I would take the photo gear with me this time. This is what my ride looked like today. It was just above 0Deg C when I left, the sun was out and there was a nice blue sky. You’ll see how the weather changed along the way. If you’re thinking there’s a ton of photos (I warned you), I was out for about 5hrs.
Is this considered OT?
Well, here you go (pics or it didn’t happen / doesn’t exist and all that)…
About 30mins into the ride:
The path is here somewhere:
First view of the Alps:
A lake:
The Alps again:
Heading all the way to the top:
This little gully is awesome:
Finally back in the sun yay, but still got some climbing to do:
Panoramic shot before the real climbing starts (excuse for a break):
That’s awesome. Completely different weather/terrain. On the way home, once the sun had gone, I had 5 layers on. Looks like you’re still wearing shorts…
Started at 10.30am…not too chilly but it’s cold at 8am…the trails go up to about 6000ft so it’s pretty cold. However, it nearly always warms up later during the day.
I used a Canon G3 (I don’t think they make them anymore - although they still have the G range) and a tripod + neutral density filter (software in camera) for the long exposure shots.
not sure how you could possibly get MORE rocks than here…
however, mud that should be too hard…the good thing is that mud
has a hard time getting down to your lungs whereas dust…
