Just got a Hed 3 Front and Hed Disk. I am curious to know what tires I should put on them for IM and HIM distance racing. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
Also, I bought tubular instead of clincher on advice of friends, but why are tubular better? To me, seems like it could be a hassle to change flat.

Have you ever used tubulars before or is this your first set? If these are true friends, they will volunteer to help you glue your first set on. 
For racing only I’ve had good luck with Vittoria Corsa something or other without tread. Too much trouble for me to bother with tubulars otherwise.

You shouldn’t ask about tubs vs. clinchers AFTER you buy the tub version…
Maybe call and ask Hed what tires they recommend with their wheels.
Tufo’s are getting beaten up a lot on this board.
