Tire sealant and HED 3 / Disk Wheel

Hi!

Wondering if anyone has experience using a tire sealant/inflator (such as Vittoria Pitstop) with a tubular disk wheel or tubular HED 3?

I know the Silca 25.0 disk wheel adapter can work with a schrader pump so it should work with Pitstop, right? I’m just concerned that the pitsop will start releasing its sealant right away and clog up the disk wheel adapter. Also, do you think it’s possible for one person to properly hold the adapter and the pitsop in place to inflate it properly or is it more of a two person job?

I’m just trying to figure out what to carry for IM for flat repair. Right now I’m thinking of carrying 1 spare tubular, and this Pitstop stuff (if it works) and keeping another spare tubular in special needs.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

This has been the third post on this very question in 24 hours…I was the first, so we must all be heading into races soon. The concensous is that you use Hutchinson Fast Air, which has a flexible hose, and a Silca 25.0 Disc Adapter to assist with the process. Good luck
