My wife just finished her first marathon yesterday in Chicago and is interested in signing up for another one. How long do you think somebody should take between marathons? Would January be too soon? Thanks.
Last winter I did a marathon and then a 50km trail run three weeks later (Found out about the 50k several days AFTER the marathon). Hal Higdon has several plans for closely-spaced marathons on his site (halhigdon.com).
