I learned about these glasses here, so I’m posting this here.
In the THREE weeks, I’ve broken THREE Pair. All three had the EXACT same thing happen. They cracked at the nose-piece in the EXACT same place.
They look great, feel great, but they crack like crazy. I do NOT have a large head. I did NOT abuse them. I did NOT take them off by pulling them on the sides. I stored them in their case and took very good care of them. Even so, I had one pair crack on its second day. My previous $20 Wal-Mart Sunglasses lasted two years. My Tifosi Scattos breaking is NOT my fault. The $45 glasses suck and they’re defective! I am just thankful the company I purchased them from replaced them twice and is letting me return the third pair.
I had the same thing happen with those. I got the shop to switch them out out for a pair of Tifosi Vogel. They are rimless and hold together much better. Also you can get them in the fototec version which gets darker depending on the amount of sunlight.

I thought about those, but decided against them. I read reviews on the Tifosi Slip which said they tend to crack in the middle and I was afraid the Vogels would do the same. I’ve given up on Tifosi at the moment.
I’m into my 3rd year wearing a pair of these with zero problems. I’m really happy with mine.
Wow. I was REALLY happy with mine too until they kept breaking. I treated them VERY nice so I have no idea why that happened to them. They were never dropped, sat on or abused in any way. I’ve had sunglasses last several years, but not them. I’ve got regular glasses which are up to ten years old so it isn’t like I don’t know how to take care of glasses.
