Personally I prefer non-threaded, I find the threaded type tend to damage the rubber on the connection of my track pump…
Prefer threaded so that I can have them cinched up and not disappearing when I have to
put the CO2 inflator on them…or even a normal pump.
At Deuceman I had to use my leatherman to hold the valve stem out so I could get
my pump on and inflate the tire for a lady who asked for help.
