Who has run in them? Thoughts? Thanks for any input…
Just picked up a pair today, so I’ll let you know tomorrow.
They look a lot like the Bolt-II, just a slight difference in the upper. I like the Bolt-II, they’re a bare-bones shoe that works really well. They offer a little pronation control and have a low heel. IMO, they could use a different design for the forefoot outsole, the current design limits their durability a bit.
I agree with Paulo. I liked the I’s, loved the II’s but the lifetime is limited. Great, great racing flat though.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing about first run in them!
you might have to wait a month or two,…paulo only run once in a blue moon… and i dont know if he can even call that running. lets just say you might get some solid feedback on what they look like and how they feel walking…
BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

You BASTARD!
I will let you know I ran today on my Bolt-II’s!!!
I have run in the Bolt Is and Bolt IIs. They are the same shoe, just different colors. I have a lot of miles on both of those as I wear them for all runs. So, I end up rotating them through and probably putting 2-300 miles on each pair.
I just got a pair of the Bolt IIIs a month or so ago, but have not run too much in them yet. The sole of the shoe on the IIIs is the same as the others. There is a carbon/plastic plate on the arch that helps control pronation…as Paulo mentioned. This might feel a bit stiff the first couple of run, but it loosens up pretty well.
The upper of the IIIs is newer. The tongue is more ‘integrated’ into the medial/arch side of the shoe and so far on the first few runs seems to be fine.
They are not as light as some of the other racing type flats. They do have relatively little drop from the heel to forefoot. Overall, I have been very pleased with them. I started wearing them because of the sponsorship that we have with TeamTBB/Avia.
Thanks, looking forward to hearing about first run in them!
Did my first run in the Bolt-III. They feel a lot like the Bolt-II, so my impressions are the same. The upper on these is a slightly different design that allows for a bit more comfort on the forefoot area. The new design is black on the outside and ORANGE on the inside, love it
All in all, they’re a good lightweight trainer/race flat for longer distance races.
The Bolt III has got a great color scheme, which I like a lot!
They are good that is all i run in…! That and the Stoltz i love Stoltzezzzzz…!
Thanks, will get a pair and try them out… Agree with others, great looking shoe…

would anyone consider them a narrow shoe? true to size??
I would say true to size. I have a really narrow for-foot and they fit me, but I have them tightened pretty far. One thing they have that I have found lacking in the other race flats that I have used is a nice arch. I tend to have a moderate arch but a very neutral running style - other flats have left me lacking in a basic arch support where I feel the Bolt III gives me that support. I also really like the lacing system - I was running in the Saucony Fastwich 4 and I absolutely hated the tongue which would tend to curl in on me. Not at all a problem with the Bolt.
