Two thoughts
1 - there are an awful lot more people there than I would have ever guessed
2 - but, but, they didn’t even touch the sharpener to the pencil
oh, and 3 - boy I sure am glad they had that live
If they actually sharpened… it would diminish the delight, unless they would actually dull it and claim it was Paul Bunyan’s pencil. 
The one kid at the end who actually got a shaving. Their whole life is about to change.
