Thin sole racing flats

i’m looking to get a new pair of racing flats soon and want some that are lightweight with a thin sole.
lately i’ve been using the adidas adizero pros and really like them but i’m thinking its time for a change.
suggestions?

mizuno wave universe 3 could very well fit the bill… it also weighs < 5oz. very thin sole.

I just bought some Asics Hyper Speed 4’s to race in. The sole is not super-thin, but at ~6.6 oz., they are pretty light. And affordable. For reference, my daily shoes are Asics Speedster 3’s.

I have worn the asics hyperspeed 2 and 3. I have not tried the 4’s yet but wouldn’t expect much change. I love the shoes and will get another pair when my current hyperspeeds need replacing.

I run in these. They’re awesome. Super thin and light. Zero cushioning. Perfect. Like running in a bathroom slipper but they look cooler.

Nike Streak XC. They were designed as a high school XC flat for 5k. I started wearing them in high school when I fractured my shin for more support in xc and track while I raced, but then found them good for road racing, and sprint triathlons. Best part is that they are cheap.

nike waffle racers…

Nike Zoom Katana racers probably have the thinnest sole of any of their flats. They’re cheap now too on Eastbay

Asics Piranya “At just 4.2 ounces, this is ASICS lightest racing flat – ever”

Katana is nice too, just look for “Rac3r” or “Star”, not the “Cage” model - I was watching ITU WC and about 5 out of top 10 men was using them
I have both and like them both for “pose method of running”

ps. I simply got 2 pairs here: http://shop.ebay.com/sappitto/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p4340

I also agree with the Asics Hyperspeeds. I’ve gone thru at least 10 pairs of the Hyperspeeds 2s and looking forward to the 4s this spring/summer. Hard to beat them for the weight and price (i usually get them for around $50).
