I tried…but it’s unreadable. didn’t even get to the pics.

I only got as far as Demerly’s post and had to stop at all the highlighting, and that he recommended the use of dznuts in a womens thread.

Unbelieveable

Why do you care what they post about or what they look like? Insecure or just douchebags? A bit of both.

My favorite is pit83, classic…

This impacts your clitoris how?

I don’t get it. Is this a troll to get the ST detectives to find your pic on BT or something?

Is there anything Tom isn’t an expert on?

this.

Funny how the BT OP didn’t post it up on ST. I only remember her since she’s the chick that lives somewhere in Mexico.

… get touched and instantly inflame and respond immediately for no known reason.

Hmm, sounds like the anti-Lance Armstrong crowd around here. She should have posted her question on Slowtwitch.

I also think she should be added to the “Best Topic Title of 2012” voting.

What’s wrong with discussing saddle issues?

It was a little detailed and medical-like, but whatever. We’re adults.

I should have been in marketing. Have already devised a tri related product and it shall be named ‘The Clam Shell’. A spray on protective barrier for the beav bits!

The person who invents the universally comfortable bike saddle will become a gazillionaire.

If Coggan or Lim or Demerly want to make a few bucks, why won’t they focus on bike seats? Come on guys…or gals. If you are so smart, solve this “puppy”. (Maybe this is what Jack Mott is doing these days? )

We have electronic shifting on 11 speeds and yet saddle sores are still prevalent?

Not directed at anyone in general but…

I didn’t think that part of a woman’s anatomy is down low enough to rub on a saddle.

I really have no idea what to make of this thread.

So, that other site, which apparently is totally worthless to the gods of slowtwitch, has a thread about functional issues with the mechanics of cycling, and is seeking advice.

How hysterical. I know that for a forum like this where anything related to being female is relegated to a totally separate forum, that concept must be so totally foreign.

If your point about the pictures of the posters is that there are way too many men commenting on something they can’t know much about, then I’d look closer to see if they have bike fit experience.

I guess your point could have been so clever and subtle I missed it. I doubt it.

What are you like 12?

This ^ is true.

But seriously, I’ll never forget the day my wife came to me with this issue. I, of course, needed it solved right away! It’s a common issue for women who tilt their pelvis forward and ride with a flat back. Along with our bike fitter, we ended up lowering her bars to put more weight on her wrists, replacing her seat with a San Marco Mantra, and using - yes - deznuts!

Yes, those areas are often involved in getting irritated.
More so in aero position.
I had a friend who was working with the Specialized-Lululemmon team and it seems many of the ladies have some serious issues with this sort of thing.
