The worst foods you can think of?

Which foods have the worst nutritional values for triathletes?

Two I personally avoid at all costs: Oreos & Ketchup

Pork rinds and beef jerky. I wish they both weren’t so darn tasty.

fried chicken from a gas station

sliders; little powered donnuts from the gas station; anything from a fast food joint; bacon; tarter sauce and hushpuppies.

adding on:
chili cheese fries
onion rings
double burger
a big fatty beef steak
fried chicken feet
fish and chips (especially the chips)
curly fries, fried in hydro fat
pastries or any food that can sit on the grocery shelf for 6 months or more

donuts. 400 calories of nuthin.

Ketchup? Are you serious?

Have you ever seen or tried organic ketchup? Regular ketchup is mostly sugar but there is nothing wrong with the organic.

corn dogs are pretty bad.

Cinnabon

Gawd… I walk by there sometimes and drool. Never had one though. Can’t be good for you I’d imagine…

chipolte burritos

Damn it. How dare you…

chipolte burritos

Say What??? I hope that was a joke.

Does anyone outside the east coast U.S. have funnel cakes? Big shards of fried grease topped with powdered sugar. One at the county fair way back in the day put my wife into labor. (yes, she was pregnant at the time).

I dunno about the burrito though.

I don’t think it speaks well of my dietary habits, but this thread makes me hungry. The convenience store staples that get me are the hot dogs rolling around on those heating rollers, Ho-Hos and chocolate milk. I feel so ashamed.
Edited to add: real (not baked) potato chips, especially the jalapeno flavor.

Iceberg lettuce.

<< The convenience store staples that get me are the hot dogs rolling around on those heating rollers, >>

You actually EAT the “slow rollers”?? And have lived to tell about it? :-p

OMG, some of those things have been going around since the hotdog was first invented, I think they have a longer half-life than fruitcake or twinkies

PS - the chocolate milk (if it’s low-fat milk) isn’t too too bad for ya.

What’s wrong with bacon? I try to have some at least weekly.
mmmmMMMMMmmmmm bacon, mmmmMMMmmmmm

Most of y’all would cringe if you knew how and what I ate.
I am the anti food-Nazi.

Carrot cake, twinkies, donuts…

Soda.

chicken fried steak and or most of the other southern specialties
.

I like, and use, chocolate milk (lowfat) as a recovery drink or after hard workouts.

What about deep fried twinkies? Seen them, but never had them.

How much ketchup would you use?
