Ok I am now looking the long and horrible task of getting wheat products out of my diet. Does anyone know anything about using rice flour? I am not sure it is real but I keep thinking I saw it used on the Food Network. Anyone?
What type of diet are you trying?
According to the Palaeolithic diet, rice is no good either. You should have your carbohydrates from fruits and vegetables. I have lost 5kg eating in a non dogmatic Palaeolithic way. It also boosted my perception of energy (i.e. I feel more energetic – or rather less lethargic). You can find information about Paleo if you search the Gordo forum.

I have not read it, but I have a copy of the book The Paleo Diet (book Loren Cordain) which I recommend. It is more than a diet, it is a lifestyle and it is very insightful and logical.
