The perfect winter running headband

The perfect winter running headband, for me, is basically just a headsweats headband with earflaps. Where can I find something like this?

Every “winter” running headband I find is way too heavy. I sweat like a beast from my head when I run, even in sub freezing temps. But my ears get cold and hurt, even at 50 degrees. So I need something that covers my ears and keeps sweat from dripping in my eyes. 180s don’t work because they pinch my head and big ears. Even the lightest beanie is more than I really want on top.

Please help.

Pearl izumi cycling one. It’s thin and warm, and it’s not as weird looking as your ideal headband

Yeah, I kinda realized it would need something low around the back to keep the earflaps down and keep it looking less weird.

Is this the one you mean? http://www.rei.com/product/788075

Yep, I’ve got that PI one only it’s last years model. I love it for running.

Yup.

Dollarama
$1.25 for a winter headband that keeps your ears warm.
WFT else do you need?

Though mine doesn’t have any carbon fiber in it.

I used to use Swix earmuffs when I lived up North. Thin compact fleece earmuffs, kept my ears warm without feeling bulky, or putting any head covering.

For the carbon fiber group…

LOL! Wow …

I have those, they don’t stay in place and the wind blows under them because that little metal piece isn’t enough to hold them tight. They’re awesome for cycling though where the helmet holds them on my ears.

I need something else, hence the post. I was wearing your recommendation and sweating like a pig. It’s what prompted the whole question.

Sometimes the cheap shit is exactly that.
