The Peaceful Tribe - t-shirt for charity - IT'S HAPPENING, WE HAVE THE GO-AHEAD

I like the idea of switching the big logo to the back and the small one to the front. Also, offset logo’s look more aesthetically pleasing, but in this case that red logo is about the size of a heart, and could be placed directly over where one would expect their heart to be. One other thing that stands out to me is that the “http://forum.slowtwitch.com” is a bit unsightly, just hotlink the logo so people can click on it and go straight to slowtwitch.

“just hotlink the logo so people can click on it and go straight to slowtwitch”

What do you mean by this…on a T-Shirt that is? I think you’re confused here…as it’s a T-Shirt we have to have the link as it is…as in this case it doesn’t have the ubiquitous www…I had to include the http://

any ideas anyone?

We need to keep this post at the top of the page…so that everyone sees it…

We probably have a couple of hours for Dan to get up yet, and given the present time Demerly is on his morning ride. Speaking of such things it appears I have a 20 mile run to do in the rain, I knew I should have done it yesterday.

What I mean is that I think it looks kind of funny and my only answer to the problem really isn’t an answer at all. But if you could hotlink it, everybody would buy it just to see how you hotlinked a t-shirt. I can assure you it’d be a big seller. Hmmm…maybe inset an LCD screen into the back of the shirt that’ll bring up the internet when somebody touches the heartguy logo?

I’m in.

…so I guess we’ll stick with what we have then…hahahhaha
.

Black t shirts are too hot.

I liked the black heart better.

You could put some stones at the logo’s feet…

Is this shirt going to end up looking like it was designed by a committee?

…it’s easy to have a white / black / grey version…I will post as soon as I do them…I will get to it now…

…the ‘cool’ option is black though…we’re talking snapping fingers, espresso, beatnick cool…hahahaha

I like the shirt as it is with the red heart. You could have two versions as well, one with a small front logo and one with the large. The graphics would stay the same so extra cost to prduce two versions would be minimal.

I like the UNICEF idea. I would definitely order a couple.

This is a great idea, might I suggest something a bit “nicer” than a cotton “T” I know that Craft does “event shirts” in a more technical fabric. They would still be under $10 but we’d all wear them instead of stuffing them in the drawer full of all the other “participation t-shirts”

-SD

I’ll second the notion of a more technical fabric, I wish more RD’s would do race shirts we could wear to race and train in.

You would have to add this quote below Tom D’s;

Totally love the idea of the technical fabric too…anyone got any contacts?

the above is front on the left this time, of course.

Yes, I will be working with Craft as of next weekend. I’l get the details on the options to you if you wish.

…but as I said…unless we get the intellectual rights owners to agree this it will all be a digital dream…

…just thinking…could the figure in the design be Mr. Tibbs sticking washing-up gloves on his head pretending he’s a chicken?

Is this shirt going to end up looking like it was designed by a committee?

Which is why I’m no longer in advertising.

…don’t worry, I uphold final veto on the design…it stands as is 'cos you all like it so far…people are only suggesting minor tweaks…and that’s fair enough…
