Gentlemen,

Tomorrow marks the dawn of perhaps the best month of the year. What month you ask? Movember that is… and no that’s not a typo.

Movember is a charitable organization that asks all men blessed with the innate ability to grow a moustache, to do so in an attempt to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men. Best of all, even women can get involved by helping to create awareness.

Finally, I know the rules of Slowtwitch… “Pictures or it didn’t happen”. I’ll start by posting my “before” picture and and will be sure to provide updates of my developing moustache throughout the month.

So what do you say guys and girls? Are we ready to support the creation of upper lip rugs in an attempt to beat prostate cancer? I encourage you to post your pictures as well, if you choose to get involved!

I just got a $100 offer to grow a Hulk Hogan style fumanchu. I told them to get their check books ready :slight_smile:

I have done this the last few years. The trick that I do is grow out all facial hair starting 2 weeks out fromm Movember. That way when it is time to rock the 'stache mine is present from mov. 1 and is a killer 70’s porn 'stache by the end of month. Don’t forget to taper the sides to stay aero.

This year’s is just filthy trucker instead of Flight Lt. WIll sort out a photo later in the week as I’ve not got one handy. Entire team is doing it this year (except female members). Meetings are thoroughly grim :wink:
