Would be interesting to see how/if the UCI would respond to this, and whether this would fall under their interpretation of the lifetime ban strictures. There’s a difference between being part of an officially licensed broadcast, and having a podcast, even if it’s being broadcast by the owner of the official event license.
My guess is that they would absolutely try to shut it down.Ya, Johan mentionned this in an episode. Apparently the UCI came out with a statement because of Johan’s involvement with Belgian TV. Sounds like Johan may “lawyer up”. They were asking for listeners who are lawyers and wanted to help

I like Johan’s commentary on the Move. But this year’s intro with “I led my team to 9 grand tour victories”, definitely rubbed me the wrong way. There was a time when he and Lance showed a little humility. That seems out the window.
