When things get too tense in the Lavender Room, we invent a new game. Games take the ‘edge’ off of the rhetoric and can be a fun/amusing distraction.

Also, The Lavender Room is a very cool place to learn new things, vent, sharpen your debating skills or post an obscure, non tri related question and find an answer.
For instance: if you needed to know how to fix yo mama’s old sewing machine, the right temp (and time) to roast potatoes in an oven, choose the correct fish for your aquarium, whether or not to cut your hair before an interview, or how to replace a water pump on a 1972 Opel ……someone in the Lavender Room either knows the answer or has an opinion.
