Here is a link to the “documentary” that will/has aired on RAI, the State run Italian TV station. It is graphic, so use your discretion as to when/where you decide to watch this. It has an obvious bias and tone, IMO. I beleive strongly in the First Amendment and I present this for the edificatioin of all sides.
Well, it starts off with the (in)famous scenes of Viet Nameise woman carrying a small child followed by children who have been burned by napalm running down the road. Then, under fuselage footage of napalm drops. The narrator claims that many have forgotten the Viet Nam war (really? I did not know this) and also made claims that the pilots would listen to “California Dreamin’” while flinging cannisters of 'palm. It goes downhill from there. Two U.S. Marines are “interviewed” a little later. Their unit is never revealed, however one is identified as a “sharpshooter” which I thought was more of a designation based on your qualifying score.
