I went and check the thread this morning and it is getting a lot of activity. But more about debating why someone would ever spend more than $100 for a bike. There are serious questions on why you would want an efficient bike (weight, aero) if the point is to get exercise.

I also follow SlickDeals. My four go to sites, right now, are Slowtwitch, Slickdeals, Fatwallet and FantasyPros. I am amazed the Cervelo thread is getting so much interest on the sites. But it does seem the interest is more around how could someone pay so much for a bike and then a lot of people judging the decisions made. Both forums threads are similar.
