Well no one has started this years yet so I figure I’ll kick it off.
As usual, TriRig is the unofficial sponsor of this thread. Thanks to Nick and Jeremiah for the best pictures of all pro riders out there. Check out the full Kona race gallery here. They also make great brakes, bars, new aero skewers, and a sweet bike, check out the store here.
Honestly the fits on the whole seem better this year than previous years but damn if the helmets don’t seem massive. The ones that jump out to me for starters are:
The pro women fits have really come a along way over the last few years. In years past a high percentage of their fits were terrible. Now it’s only Meredith Kessler and Camilla Pedersen with really bad fits.
Best solution to refill Shiv rear hydration: Braden Currie
Am I seeing this correctly? He can put a bottle in this cage upside down and then squeeze the fluid into the rear bladder. If so, this is genius after the debacle in 2018 watching Lucy try to refill the rear bladder.
Yeah, haug’s helmet looked like a giant white slug. A bit of color or even black would have been visually less of an issue. That is the kind of helmet where if someone said it would save me X watts, i would pass and get the next fastest option.
I know i look like a fool in my aerohead (130lbs with size large head), but haug is another level.
Holy cow. Hadn’t even noticed that. Actually next level if it worked. Wonder if that was his idea or specialized? Looks like some kind of custom intermediate was made for between the bottle and bladder.

LCB last year was shockingly terrible. And then hear rear hydration system would not close… all broadcast live.
Anybody riding a Ceepo is not allowed to start this thread. Ever.
A bit uncalled for but might not be the case for much longer anyways! The bike did its job and got me a bit more publicity this year. I’ll take it!

The only things that got you publicity were 1) your mouth/keyboard 2) your results. And if you think davews09 was responsible for last years thread, you’re wrong. That’s was me.
