Wow that’s an incredible build… except for the clinchers. Is he training on them?? The bike would be 400 grams lighter with tubies. I just saw my first ttx the other day; nice looking bike!
I saw my first also. How would the aluminium version of the Equinox ride in comparison to the carbon, as they both appear to be exactly the same (except for rear stays). I’m sure they are both very stiff, just a little more dampening in the carbon. My understanding is that the Trek aluminium frames are rather stiff, but similarly forgiving…
A Trek TTX with Zipps and ergomo and a Soloist carbon with Campy Boras, both full Record? Since when did drug dealers start riding bikes? I would have to take a second on my house to drop that kind of cash on bikes in one day.
When the customer picks them up, ask him if he is interested in adopting for me, please.
read it and weep…
When you are ready to buy clinchers, we will sell them to you.
Might not apply to TTs in flat terrain but, Would you prefer to get a flat on a steep descent at a speed over 70 kph on a tubular or on a clincher? No sarcasm here, just a serious question.
Nice Soloist build, but why does he only have a PM on the Trek? Seems strange to race with wattage but not train with it. Surely, money isn’t an option here.
Not Robin Williams, but a very high end customer who is a pretty strong rider. If he likes the bike, he generally buys an identical 2nd one as is the case with that Soloist Carbon. His personal stead is more indepth and impressive then most “tri shops” around!!
