Thanks to MarkyV for switching bike companies and hooking me up with an amazing frame.
Huge thanks to Tribe Multisport in Scottsdale, AZ for rushing to get my bike built. They are an amazing shop that never ceases to amaze me with their level of customer service and contribution to the local Tri and cycling community. I decided at the last minute to have it built up Chorus 11 speed. I dropped the bike off Tuesday night. Tribe ordered the group for me and had it in the shop Thursday afternoon. By early Friday they had my bike built up and my rear wheel converted to support Campy so I could use it Saturday. Tribe was the sponsor of the TT I did Saturday and multiple folks from Tribe went out of their way to check and see how the bike was after I had a chance to ride it before the race. They were ready to make adjustments on the spot even though they were all racing. Awesome awesome shop!!! I think they were just as excited as me about my new bike and build which was pretty cool.
Of course now I have a heck of a dilemma every time I ride. Do I ride the new R3 SL with Campy or the 3 month old P2C?
are you sure the bike shop rushed your bike? perhaps they had nothing to do so had no choice doing yours… perhaps that was the only bike they work on on those 2 days so effectively…they took there time to build it.
Anyway, i know i could have build it quicker… perhaps the crank would be put backward and i might also forget a few screw and spacer/bearing but i m quicker anyway!
I can definitely agree without a doubt. I didn’t have the same situation… but as far as customer service and support, they are top notch. They truly have a great group of people at Tribe that ALWAYS supports the local tri community and are always willing to help and give to local events! If anyone is ever visiting Arizona, they should stop by and see what Tribe is all about and then they will understand
I decided to wipe the dust off of my Slowtwitch password and get back on here. Jonnyo can wrench. Desert Dude on the other hand… He is more like a hammer

Thanks for the nice words “Mr. Bubble”, you too Steve… as Johnyo said, there was nothing else to do as a matter of fact, we actually kept putting off your bike as close to Saturday as we could!
Anyway, in all seriousness I hope you’re enjoying that machine, it’s a sweet ride! You’re now a proud owner of two Cervelo’s and part of the Campy Family! How was the TTT?
