Thanks to ITB Hawaii, Jack & Adams Austin, and Felt

Just a quick kudos to ITB Hawaii and Frank Smith. I had bought a bike from them 3 years ago when I was living in Hawaii. Unfortunately, 1. I no longer live in Hawaii, and 2. the front derailer hanger on the bike just cracked, and 3. I didn’t keep my receipt for warranty purposes. I called ITB, and Frank found a copy of my receipt, faxed it to my local dealer, sent a copy to me, and wrote me a nice note letting me know he was available to help in any way he could. Class act all the way around! I am not certain if he reads this board, but perhaps Tai or another local could let him know that I am much appreciative!

I live just a couple of blocks away. I will be sure to tell Frank when I see him.

Aloha,

Larry

good to hear, I hope this hasn’t been a huge hassle.

I just wanted to send out an update and additional thanks. My 2004 Felt frame had developed a small crack on the front derailer hanger. The folks at Jack and Adams were great about taking care of me, even though I was not a “regular” customer and had purchased the bike elsewhere. Felt replaced the frame with a new 2006 frame with considerable upgrades. I know all of this is “how things should be,” but it nice when you are taken care of as a customer with great service and no hassles. Thanks to all involved- I am back to training on my bike.
