These popularity contests irk me to no end. Not to bag on BayArea in particular, but these posts asking for votes for peoples’ videos, comments, portraits or piano solos just rub me the wrong way.

I took the victory. It was close and dirty. but i’m happy to report the cheater did not win. =) Not losing fairly would have upset me more than losing the garmin unit itself.

Am I correct in reading that you were declared the winner? If so, congratulations!!!

A shame that the postings got ugly, I would guess that the LBS will consider that for future ‘contests.’ I was in a similar type of FB contest,and for a while was way out in front, then another contestant went way out in front, it was fun and I congratulated them on their win. Just not worth creating fake accounts and such.
