I currently doing the 100 runs in 100 days challenge. This has me running around 6 times a week and building toward 30-35 mpw for now. Recently after runs I get a lingering pain on the outside of the elbow. I took a few weeks off after IMFL and then started consistently running again. It has been present for about a week. Anyone else have or hear such a thing. I havent swam since IMFL so I can rule that out. Also, very little cycling as of late.
The only thing I can possibly think of to cause this from running is if you keep your arms clenched instead of loose while running. Is there anything else in your life that could be causing it? Too much Xbox can do it to me…
No Xbox, tennis or anything else I can think of. I do run with a jogging stroller about half the time but, push with the other arm. I guess I do keep my arms pretty tense during a run. Only thing that has changed since IM build is an increase of use of jogging stroller. Its gonna be hard to take days off running for a elbow injury if they are related.
