Looking for advice on cycling options/routes in Telluride including a good place to rent a bike. Ideally, gravel and/or road options. Not looking to do real technical mtb routes. If there are weekend group rides that would be good to know., too. Thanks in advance.
Reply mostly just to give you a bump since I don’t have a lot of info to help you……road riding is kinda one way in/out of Telluride proper, not a lot of loop options in the area.
I stopped there during a road tour in the mid nineties, came over Dallas Divide and then into town, left the next day for Cortez and the four corners area.
Hopefully someone can chime in with some gravel routes as I imagine that would be amazing in that area, though probably quite chunky and steep.
